The first official WONDER trailer is out and it’s going to tug at your heartstrings a little and possibly bring out some tears.

The Wonder trailer was just released and it’s definitely a heart-stirrer. The movie stars the highly talented Jacob Tremblay, Oscar-winner Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, Emmy-winner Mandy Pantinkin, and Tony-winner Daveed Diggs. The movie is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by R.J. Palacio, and is directed by writer/producer/director Stephen Chbosky, who wrote the best-selling novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower as well as the screenplay.

Based on the New York Times bestseller, WONDER tells the inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie’s extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.
