Watch the GAME OF THRONES: Commentary on ‘Eastwatch’ and Preview for ‘Beyond the Wall’

There’s been a lot to go over with this penultimate short season of GAME OF THRONES, and there’s still a lot to see going forward.

Last Sunday on Game of Thrones, we saw Drogon use his power for roasting, and even Jon Snow got a very close look at Drogon. Close enough to pet, and he still wasn’t eaten alive. Hmmm…the showrunners aren’t giving hints of Jon’s Targaryen lineage, they’re full on telling us unapologetically. (Especially when you consider that whopper of a statement that Hannah made about Rhaegar’s annulment to his wife at the time, Elia Martell, and subsequest marriage to another, Lyanna Stark.

Not only that, but we see the return of Jorah Mormont after being healed by Sam Tarley, which is such a nice scene between them, as well as Jon Snow, who knew Jorah’s father.

Actors Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, and Iain Glen talk about that lovely scene.

Another reunion occurs in the episode, and that between the Lannister brothers, Tyrion and Jaime, which isn’t as soft-hearted as the when they last parted, especially since Tyrion killed their father instead of fleeing right away when Jaime gave him the chance to.

In the following video, Peter Dinklage and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau talk about that family reunion scene.

This Sunday’s episode will be 70 minutes long and it looks like a lot of it will have to do with Jon Snow and his band of mischiefs as they go north of the wall to try to kidnap one of the White Walkers to bring to Cersei Lannister as a way to convince her to stop the war with the other parties so they can fight the White Walkers together.

Yeah, that’s about as easy to do as getting the current U.S. president to admit when he’s wrong. Check out the preview:

We also have newly released pictures from the ‘Beyond the Wall’ episode, which also shows another confrontation between the Stark sisters, Arya and Sansa.

Game of Thrones episode 66 airs this Sunday at 9pm on HBO.
