Screen Junkies is back with a smart, snarky parody of THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG, just in time for the final HOBBIT film.
To celebrate the theatrical release of THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES, YouTube humor channel Screen Junkies has released its Honest Trailer take on its predecessor, THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG!
Though we very much enjoyed the movie, this take on the tale certainly calls out it’s copious additions and inconsistencies as the middle movie of a trilogy in a ballsy and hilarious fashion!
We especially loved the references to all that getting captured and the romance between “The hot elf and Kate from LOST”. Gotta love it!
THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG is currently out on DVD. THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES is now in theaters.
