JESSICA JONES panel gets the cast talking, teases big scenes!
Fans who attended the Jessica Jones panel at New York Comic-Con this year were expecting some exciting sneak peeks, but they got even more than the bargained for!
First, Marvel Television president Jeph Loeb introduced the cast and showrunner Melissa Rosenberg for a short panel in which they discussed the show’s gritty nature, Jessica’s personality, the relationships on the show, and more!
At the end, Loeb teases a sneak peek presented by David Tennant, who plays villainous Kilgrave aka The Purple Man but couldn’t make it out to NYCC. But as it turns out, Tennant’s introduction wasn’t just for a mere few clips: Marvel showed the entire pilot episode!
Reviews from the event are largely positive and suggest the the pilot captures the essence of the character wonderfully. We can’t wait to see it ourselves when Jessica Jones hits Netflix on November 20, 2015!
