Black Lightning got an endearing introduction at Comic-Con with a poignant trailer from The CW.
The trailer starts as a retrospective on The CW’s entire DC superhero line-up. The characters talk about what it means to have power, be a hero, and fight for what’s right. Slowly, Black Lightning is added into the mix and we see one of his first confrontations at a newly reinstated superhero, which takes place at a sketchy motel in town.
We would have liked see a bit more new footage from the latest superhero in the group, but if The CW wasn’t willing to show much, at least they made it meaningful.
The CW’s DC superhero lineup returns starting October 9, 2017.
