Watch the preview for GAME OF THRONES episode “The Door”

Sansa Stark confronts Littlefinger in this GAME OF THRONES preview for episode 55, “The Door.”

From the looks of the preview for Game of Thrones episode 55, “The Door,” we see first off that Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) is going to get to have a little word with the Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish (Aidan Gillen).  I doubt there’s going to be any liplocking between the two this time around (and good!) unless it’s like a kiss of death or some other harmful-meaning kiss.  And considering Sansa now has Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) with her, it certainly doesn’t look good for Littlefinger.

We also get back to what’s going on at the Iron Islands as Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan) seeks to claim the Salt Throne.  But will her uncle Euron (Pilou Asbæk) reappear to claim the Salt Throne for himself?  That is, after all, the reason he returned and threw Balon off the bridge to his death.  And if that’s the case, if he appears, what will Theon’s (Alfie Allen) reaction be in all the melee?  Because there is sure to be some melee.  It is Game of Thrones, is it not?

We get a peek into the younger Starks as well, as it looks like Arya (Maisie Williams), who now has regained her sight, is to take on a task as an official “nobody” of the House of Black and White, while Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) goes on another dreamwalk and encounters some dangerous foes on a frozen tundra somewhere North of the Wall.  With Bran in this episode, you might think that maybe you’ll get to see what happened in the Tower of Joy, but let’s not dwell on that hope.

We might be missing Daenerys in this episode, but not Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) as a mysterious stranger (Ania Bukstein) wants to offer her own advice.

Here’s the short, but official synopsis:

Tyrion seeks a strange ally. Bran learns a great deal. Brienne goes on a mission. Arya is given a chance to prove herself.
