Singer Shawn Mendes gets his acting debut in the season three premiere of The 100!
The season three premiere of The 100 is just two weeks away, and today we finally got to find out something we’ve all been wondering since February: What is Shawn Mendes’ role in the show?
The ‘Stiches’ singer asked to be in the show back in February by twitter, to which the producer of the show, Jason Rothenberg, replied enthusiastically.

Today, a clip was released, finally giving the fans insight into what Mendes’ role will be. And it turns out, he’ll be doing what he does best: singing. Check out the clip below:
This clip also features Raven (Lindsey Morgan) and Abby (Paige Turco) discussing an issue they have which will be introduced earlier in the episode, with Macallan (Mendes’ character) playing ‘Add it Up’ by ‘Violent Femmes’ in the background.

I know that I, for one, cannot wait to see what else this premiere has in store. Hopefully more of Mendes’ wonderful singing!
