Watch the STAR TREK BEYOND “Unity” TV Spot

The Star Trek Beyond “Unity” TV Spot focuses on the teamwork of the crew of the Starship Enterprise.

“Unity is not your strength,” says Krall (Idris Elba), the main antagonist of the latest Star Trek movie, a statement we can only guess as being directed towards Captain James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) in the Star Trek Beyond TV Spot.

But Kirk seems to respond so matter-of-factly, “I think you’re underestimating humanity.” Yes, we also think that as well, despite what’s going on right now in the real world. Humanity can be underestimated.

But let’s get back to this TV spot that shows some new footage with a little scene between Spock (Zachary Quinto) and Kick as they seem to beginning to realize that they do make a good team. Considering the resiliency of the decades long franchise, we believe that, too.

“Star Trek Beyond,” the highly anticipated next installment in the globally popular Star Trek franchise, created by Gene Roddenberry and reintroduced by J.J. Abrams in 2009, returns with director Justin Lin (“The Fast and the Furious” franchise) at the helm of this epic voyage of the U.S.S. Enterprise and her intrepid crew. In “Beyond,” the Enterprise crew explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test.

Star Trek Beyond opens in theaters July 22, 2016.
