WARNING: If you haven’t been all caught up with Supernatural, especially the finale of last season, then you might want to skip this one.
Executive producers Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer give some insight to what to expect in the upcoming season 10.
Last we saw in the season 9 finale, Dean (Jensen Ackles) gets killed by Metatron and Sam (Jared Padalecki) options Crowley (Mark Sheppard) to resurrect him. Well, turns out Crowley does so, but brings Dean back as a demon, hence demon Dean, aka Deanmon.
Carver and Singer explain that the beginning of the season will be a dark path for Deanmon and Sam as Dean takes on his new role alongside Crowley, although Crowley has plans that haven’t been brought to light yet.
We’ll be introduced to a new hunter, Cole, who plans to take down Deanmon.
And we’ll be seeing an interesting path for Castiel (Misha Collins) as he struggles with his humanity in more ways than one.
Of course, the producers tease about the fun standalone episodes that we love so much, including the musical-ish 200th episode, as well as another appearance by Charlie (played excellently by Felicia Day, and a character that now has her own Funko Pop! vinyl figure), and other possible reappearances.
