The prologue features The Twelfth Doctor on Karn, vaguely discussing his plans with a Sister of Karn and handing over his Last Will And Testament to her for safe-keeping. In true Who fashion, this teaser offers up more questions than answers, guaranteeing that fans will say glued to each episode as the answers unravel later on.
Doctor Who returns with a two-parter, “The Magician’s Apprentice” and “The Witch’s Familiar”, the first of which will air on September 19, 2015.
Episode Synopsis:
