Death and destruction reign in first X-MEN: APOCALYPSE trailer!
20th Century Fox promised fans the first X-Men: Apocalypse trailer today.. and they didn’t mess around! The trailer hit bright and early, ready for viewing before much of the nation even woke up!
The trailer starts with a young Jean Gray (Sophie Turner) waking from an intense vision of the terror the villain Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) will cause. We just some more background on the legendary nemesis thanks to the return of Rose Byrne as Agent Moira MacTaggert, who has the scoop Professor X (James McAvoy) and Havok (Lucas Till) need to survive. The trailer the dissolves into chaos with the arrival of Apocalypse and his younger followers including Psylocke (Olivia Munn) and a properly mohawk-rocking Storm (Alexandra Shipp). Along with the First Class mutant favorites, we’re also getting new peeks at the newer residents at Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters, including Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) and Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee). It all tops off with a major moment showing Professor X’s transformation!

Official Synopsis:
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.
