Disney’s The Jungle Book offers a breath-taking new look at a classic tale!
When Disney first announced plans for a live-action version of The Jungle Book directed by Jon Favreau, we must admit to some skepticism. After all, the film is extremely CGI-heavy and while Favreau is a capable director, we hadn’t seen his prowess with effects. Not to mention Warner Bros competing film based on Rudyard Kipling’s book, Jungle Book: Origins.
However, The Jungle Book absolutely blew fans away at the D23 Expo with clips featuring photorealistic backgrounds and superb CGI. Now, the first official trailer is here and the world can experience it all for themselves!
The trailer takes fans through the vast jungle, introduces young Mowgli and his relationship with Bagheera, temptation of different sorts from King Louie and Kaa, and the fierce Shere Khan. It’s all captured with stunning realism!
The Jungle Book will swing into theaters on April 15, 2016.
