We’re a month out from DC’s “Elseworlds” crossover and things are about to get crazier than ever!
After Monday’s episode of Arrow, we saw our first sneak peak into highly anticipated annual crossover event titled “Elseworlds”. On top of featuring loads of characters all at once, the DC crossover this year now has the extra pressure of introducing Ruby Rose‘s Batwoman and Gotham City to the Arrowverse for the first time, as well as Superman’s love interest Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), potentially setting up a Superman show in the process.
But back to the teaser we saw Monday night. Did it give you answers or more questions? In case you’re not a fan of watching trailers, here’s what happened. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) wakes up in the West-Allen loft, sees a picture of himself and Iris (Candice Patton) and is then greeted by the latter with a good morning kiss.
Um… confused yet?
You’re not the only ones. In an almost Freak Friday twist, we also see Iris say to Oliver, “I love you, Barry Allen.” So many questions!
Well, at any rate, we’re beginning to see the puzzle pieces come together of what the CW teased earlier last month with their three-night event crossover’s poster, which showed Amell as the Flash and Grant Gustin, who actually plays Barry Allen on The Flash, as the Green Arrow. Like the poster, the teaser also suggested that “destiny will be rewritten.”
All this starts in a few weeks on Sunday, Dec. 9, with The Flash at 8 p.m.
