Watch Vincent D’Onofrio’s Character Reveal for JURASSIC WORLD

Vincent D’Onofrio character revealed in this Jurassic World video

When you look at Vincent D’Onofrio, he does tend to have that sort of security/police enforcement type of vibe.  Either that, of the broad-shoulder heavy, and not just physically, mean gangster/mob type of person.  But for the sake of this article, let’s stick with enforcement.

In Jurassic World, he plays that type of character.  And you can see that in this Masrani Global video, which features Masrani Security and their involvement with inGen and the dinosaur resort and theme park.

He plays Vic Hoskins, the Head of inGen’s Private Security Division.   Of course, his role will probably be highlighted in more videos or trailers in the upcoming weeks before the release of the movie.  It’ll be interesting to see if he plays the naive and cocky sort of security head, or if he’ll actually be helping try to wrangle these dinosaurs back into their cages when all hell breaks loose in the park.  I would love it if his type of character would be more than that, though.

I only say that because… it’s Vincent D’Onofrio.  He can play more than some two-dimensional security guy.  That’s why he plays such interesting characters, and I want to see that for this movie as well.

That said, I love these types of videos that they to convey the realism of the story of Jurassic World.  It’s fiction, but in a sense, this is another way of immersing the audience into the story, without the use of 3D glasses.

And if you want to know more about Jurassic World, rumor has it there could be a second hybrid dinosaur that will appear in the film, although probably not quite as terrifying as the Indominous Rex is.  You can read more about that here along with a view of said dinosaur.
