YA author of Thirteen Reasons Why has finally written another book, What Light.
What Light, Jay Asher’s second solo book, features a Christmas tree lot in northern California. Asher got the idea for his new novel after reading about a family in Oregon who owns a Christmas tree lot.
Other than co-authoring The Future of Us with Carolyn Mackler, the well-known author hasn’t published a book since 2007, nearly a decade ago. Since the release of Thirteen Reasons Why, Asher has been touring all over the world to raise bullying awareness.
Penguin Young Readers plans to publish the contemporary romance book on October 11.
