Journey 2: The Mysterious Island tells the story of Sean (Josh Hutcherson) who receives a coded distress signal from an island that shouldn’t exist and, believing the signal has been sent by his long-missing grandfather, travels across the world to inspect it with his stepfather (Dwayne Johnson). They’re accompanied on their journey to the island by a helicopter pilot and his daughter (Luis Guzman and Vanessa Hudgens), where they uncover a world unlike anything they’ve ever imagined.
