You could win a trip to BOOKCON 2015 and meet Marissa Meyer!

Marissa Meyer has offered a chance for you to win a trip to BookCon 2015 in New York City and meet her there!

The author of The Lunar Chronicles series made the big announcement yesterday on her blog.  She along with other Fierce/Epic Reads authors will be in attendance at the popular book festival in New York.

The Grand Prize trip includes a voucher to travel to New York City, two BookCon 2015 VIP packages, two front row seats to Marissa Meyer and The Grisha trilogy author Leigh Bardugo‘s “In Conversation” event, a signed hardcover copy of Fairest, and one Lunar Chronicles swag pack.  This is definitely grand!

All you need to do is go here and fill out the form to enter.

Unfortunately, not everyone can win, so five First Prize packages that will have a signed hardcover copy of Fairest, which just came out today, one “Fairest” handheld mirror, and one Lunar Chronicles poster.

And twenty-five Second Prize winners will receive a “Fairest” handheld mirror.

You can read more about the prizes and rules here.

If you want another chance at getting a signed copy of Fairest, Shelf Awareness is holding a giveaway for it, and there will be ten copies to give away.

On her post, Marissa also revealed some details about the Cress paperback, which was also released today.  Included in the book is a blogger thank you page on there, an interview with her and author Mary Weber (Storm Siren),  and a sneak peek at Fairest with a poem that she wrote.  But the big thing that could encourage you to buy the paperback is that there’s also a full-color diagram of Captain Carswell Thorne’s Rampion spaceship on the endpapers!

Her final announcement was this:

I just finished Winter!!

Like, finished, finished. Like, going to copyedits finished.

I might be in shock.

(There are rumors of a particular page count floating around the interweb and I can tell you… yes. Yes, it really is that big.)

I’ll find out how much information I can share about it and hope to have more on that soon.

Yes, she’s finished!  Of course, we still have to wait, but apparently there’s a big BIG scene.  Oh, man!  November won’t come fast enough!
