Wolverine Walks With The Sunset in Latest LOGAN Poster

LOGAN gets metaphorical in a new poster!

Logan is Hugh Jackman’s last portrayal of X-Men icon Wolverine and the movie takes place in a distant future where mutants are nearly extinct. With its latest poster, it seems promotion for the film isn’t shying away from a little metaphor.

The poster, first released on Hugh Jackman’s socials, shows Logan walking across an empty terrain looking weary in a suit, claws out. Behind him, the setting sun lingers, signaling the end of life and the world as Logan knows it, and also perhaps the end of Jackman in the popular role.

Logan certainly looks darker, grittier, and more heartfelt than Fox’s usual X-Men film, which has got us very intrigued. The film hits theaters on March 3, 2017.

Years after the epilogue of X-Men: Days of Future Past, some of the last mutants, an aging Logan—whose healing factor is starting to fail—and Charles Xavier protect a young girl named Laura who is very similar to Logan, and is being hunted by sinister forces.
