Disney’s A WRINKLE IN TIME now has a release date for Spring 2018, which is in line for students to be on Spring Break.
Director Ava Duvernay sent out a video tweet which revealed the projected release date for her upcoming movie adaptation for Madeleine L’Engle’s classic sci-fi/fantasy A Wrinkle in Time.
The movie, which stars Storm Reid (12 Years a Slave) as the young lead Meg Murry, will be out in theaters on April 6, 2018.

A Wrinkle in Time also stars Chris Pine (Star Trek Beyond) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Free State of Jones) as Meg’s parents Drs. Alex and Kate Murry, Oprah Winfrey (Selma), Mindy Kaling (The Night Before), and Reese Witherspoon (Hot Pursuit) as three supernatural beings named Mrs. Which, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Whatsit, Zach Galifianakis (Keeping Up With the Joneses) as The Happy Medium, and Levi Miller (Pan) as Meg’s friend Charles Wallace.
After the disappearance of her scientist father, three peculiar beings send Meg, her brother, and her friend to space in order to find him.
