Yallwest, a west coast book festival that happens annually at Santa Monica, CA, during the Spring season, had to cancel this year’s event due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, much like all the other major events around the country.
But today, they announced YallStayHome, a virtual festival to take place in lieu of the in-person book event. On Saturday and Sunday, April 25th and 26th, over 70 authors will be participating in virtual panels.
According to the website, signed books will also be available for delivery, and there will also be giveaways and contests going on.
Included in the author lineup are familiar one like Becky Albertalli, Alexandra Bracken, Dhonielle Clayton, Kami Garcia, Marie Lu, Tahereh Mafi, Adam Silvera, Angie Thomas, and Nicola Yoon, among so many others.
So, mark your calendars for a weekend of fun with your favorite authors as they talk about books, books, and more awesome books!
