What does a writer do after his popular book series gets adapted into a popular TV series? Well, if you’re Soman Chainani, you write, which is apparently what he’s been doing after his The School for Good and Evil books were turned into a Netflix TV series.

Young World is Soman’s next book, which tells of a world run by teenage leaders, or more specifically, where a 17-year-old gets elected President of the United States, and apparently causes other countries to do the same, starting what’s called the Revolting Youth. This political fantasy involves a mystery twist as well when the president becomes embroiled in a murder during this world’s G8 summit, the world inter-governmental political forum involving the group of eight – Canada, Japan, Italy, France, Germany, United Kingdom, United States, and Russia.

Due to how well The School for Good and Evil did, there is definite interest in getting this adapted into a TV/movie and several producers are in talks to obtain the rights for Young World.
